Brian has been a regulatory consultant since 2001, offering the perspective gained from his accounting background and 20 years of experience in the industry. Brian began his career at Price Waterhouse, before joining the Toronto Stock Exchange as an examiner. He then became the first Vice-President, Finance of the Alberta Stock Exchange, with responsibility for managing its entire regulatory program. He then held key financial, operational and compliance roles at Peters & Co. Limited in Calgary and then Scotia McLeod Inc. For a number of years he was Chief Financial Officer of Scotia McLeod’s London European Operations, based out of London, U.K.
